Default Fake plastic north boom clamp?

Was I just unlucky or is the transparent plastic used in the gold booms from a few years back prone to breakage? Yes it was a few years old (perhaps 2008) but had not seen a lot of use. Could add that it was fairly expensive. It broke while I tried to close it so no swimming involved. Have long since converted to tecno limits booms for safety reasons but was hoping the north boom could be used for summer sailing at the cottage. I actually have two north booms and could be interested in having both clamps replaced if spares are available.

So you tell me you can ride. Can you also read?

(Please don't take me seriously. If people actually tried to understand one another forums would probably be exceedingly boring.)

North have many spares available, we keep a fair stock but not the boom clamps, can acquire them for you as required, have regular orders coming in from B&M (North).

    Email or call.
