    Default Brandon Bay watertemp

Tuesday we go for a couple of days French Brittany (Crozon) and take the boat to Ireland.
Does anyone with this weird winter a clue what thickness surfsuit to bring?
We got a lot of everything from 2mm till 6/5 hood.

Because its stuck out in the Atlantic i don't think it will be much different to what it would be after a normal winter and fairly close to Brittany. I'm guessing about 10C, maybe a touch more. 5/3 or even 4/3 on a warm day, no boots, gloves or hood (unless you are surfing). Although i would take them in case you get some cold air temps, which is still possible at this time of year...

Perhaps some of the locals can give you an eyeball (or toe in the water) repor. BB's assessment is pretty much what I would have expected though, based on a couple of trips there in early May for the BWA event.

Have fun Jeroen ! In the south I'm getting to the point where I am quite hot in my 5mm furry flash bomb. A few more weeks and it won't be winter suit weather here (or in Ireland I should think).

Thanx guys, really looking forward to some quality waves

Last week in Holland the hood was finally too Hot to keep on, but it made me wonder.
I probably pack one hooded suit for in case of, and the rest normall (5/4 4/3 and maybe 3/2 for a sunny SUP day) with some normall 3mm boots instead of the 6mm Atans.
