Tuesday 22nd October
Sandbanks again before work, could get used to this weather. More south in the wind today and the waves were a bit more consistent compared to yesterdays session peaking at chest high sections on which you could manage a backside top turn, frontside bottom turn, top turn combination before dissolving into amorphous mush. Sailed from 8ish to 10 on a 5.2 and Tempo 92. Enough rain to rinse of the kit.

Perran Sands. Superb. Plenty of head high and the odd bit of logo high. Cross shore winds, light on the inside at first, but then well powered on a 5.7. Only downer was the trek back up that bloody dune/cliff thing. Oh, and my session ended when a harness line snapped, but then I was about to surrender anyway.
An amazing forked lightning display was a bonus as I drove back along the M4.
Great to meet up with more long-time-no-see friends too, and special thanks to the Juice Boardsports on-tour ('Juice On-the-Loose?') gang for good company and for showing me the way today.
Looking forward to bed after a week living in the van.

Perran Sands - great session - good to meet fellow formites. Two fish and LeeBones.
Best so far rigged a 5.7 and 100 RRD quad and hung on as I could not face going back to re-rig.
