    Default Down Haul Rope

    Hi All,
I've noticed a few threads mentioning the strongest type of rope for down hauling, but I've just tried a search and cant find anything.
Just wondered what you recommend as mine looks a little tired.
Also where to get it from please.
    Cheers

A lot of people like Marlow "formuline". Any windsurfing shop should have it, if not in their webshop just e-mail them...

Downhaul rope is available to order online, if you do not want to stretch to the cost of Formuline, go for Marlow Excel Racing http://4boards.co.uk/Windsurf/Access..._Downhaul_Rope if you order some online, we'll send you a complimentary 1.5m of Formuline to try.

Formuline is top stuff. Just changed too it. Super slippery and makes downhualing very easy.

Another vote for formuline. It is so slippery that I can downhaul all of my wavesails without any tool. It hardly shows any wear after two full seasons and does not stretch at all. Only drawback is that it is a bit more tricky to wrap up excess line since it is too slippery for hitch knots (but fine for the cleat and bowline knot).

One of the best little updates I've done to my gear in the last few years.
