    The forecast for Ireland is indeed epic, being closer to the windy part of the low, as forecasts stand.
    But do you take time off work to head for wind and waves, even paying for a ferry trip? Or do instead you wait for the wind and waves to arrive at your local spot, whilst still getting work done and sleeping in your own bed?

    I tend to travel when there is no wind expected here.

    I can see those paid to sail might make a different decision.
    Local wind only this week? Catch it if you can.

    Otherwise? Windiest time looks like early to mid afternoon now, with a bit of a lull forecast for the afterwork crew . I'd prefer to go after work, but can do the afternoon if its good.

    Anyone fancy 7am tomorrow at Lancing or Hove depending on wind direction?
