Windguru is suggesting it'll be a bit more easterly so I might head to Shoreham for low tide on saturday.

shoreham is still sailable in a NE-ENE. its a bit cross off, but comes through clean. Only do it if you are confident and have a bit of float in your board.

Watch out that any windguru forecast for E or ENE winds at Shoreham tends to be wrong – and that on the day the wind is often more NE, blowing cross off.
Even a true easterly is gusty, having arrived after traveling over Beach Head.
Check the Met Office forecast too.
My thinking is that Friday sees E or cross-on winds at Shoreham but that the weekend sees cross off wind.Last edited by basher; 22nd March 2013 at 02:22 AM.

Hayling might be worth a tinkle today - 10 second period and a bit of swell could go quite nicely with an easterly wind.

Might give Hayling a go tomorrow. I went off littlehampton last night and wasn't prepared for my lack of fitness!
