New event in Newquay - Beach Break Live

Been hearing a lot about this recently. Just announced they're moving the event to Newquay!

Anyone heard more? Apparently they're hosting their main stage at Fistral and working with bars around town?? Plus windsurf comps?!?

Any Newquay windsurfers know more?

Great if you're in your twenties.
Horrific if you're not! I think even the locals are worried.

As for windsurfing in Newquay area, pretty rare.
Might be right up your street though.

Spoke to couple guys behind the bar at sailors the other eve, apparently all the bars in town are gonna be hosting gigs for this event.
Dont think its just about the booze! Actually think there might be music ha!

Rather this than stag dos either way. Windsurfing at watergate apparently...

I'm with PK on this. Newquay will be the one place in cornwall I don't want to be that weekend! Crowded surf, crowded bars, loads of music I don't like. Give me some empty(ish) waves in St Ives bay followed by a few quiet pints in the bucket of blood any day. It's a fantastic event for the yoof though. Now, where did I leave my slippers...

Yea maybe it suits me more (mid twenties). I'm quite liking the smaller less known names on the line up, might check this one out even just for a day or 2.
