Default What wetsuit for 16 degrees?

Going to Valencia this Easter and want to do some windsurfing. The water temp is about 16 centigrade. Is that just a normal wetsuit or do I need something warmer? Excuse the ignorance.
    Thanks

Personaly that would be a short sleeved 3mm steamer for me. The blindstitching being more important than the length of the arms.

Depends also on the air temp, how sunny it is, and how windy it is. You might be OK in a good shortie if it's sunny and not too windy, but if it's properly windy then a 3 / 2 short arm would be my choice as well. The water here in Tenerife is about 18c at the mo and on a sunny day the air temp is in the low 20's but the wind is chilly ... I'm using a blind stitched double lined 2 / 2 mm long leg / short arm wetsuit, but some of the tourists are in no sleeve shorties.
two boards, five fins, y posiblemente un poco de viento esta semana

Mistral M84 Twinzer for Sale. Needs a repair, but a deal can be done and this classic board should see some more waves. Send me an e-mail or PM for details. Also various used Tushingham Rocks (4.2, 4.7, 5.2, 5.7) going cheap. Need to collect from El Medano.

even in places like Spain it is too early for 3/2mm short sleeve suits,
the water is still quite cold and temperature is still low
for this period of time I use a spring 5/3 mm, it keeps me warm in and out of water.

OK thanks guys. I'll prob play safe and go for the slightly warmer option as the air temp can get chilly.

Exactly right. If you are warm you can always open the back zipper. If you're cold with a shorty you have no options.
