BB watch out you don't get a new moniker. WW whingeing wimp.
The wind has gone from the West so looks unlikely it will be any goo this weekend, which is a shame. Glad I got a food session yesterday.

Still some hope for a session this afternoon. Beeb and windguru still forecasting SSW and 18kts. Reckon there should be a sandbanks 6m wavesail as a possibility.

Massive wind drop on Chimet in the last hour.
That's happened earlier than expected and makes my Pagham recommendation look rather silly – so sorry for that.
The best wind is to the east today with the heavier rain there, but the wind drops as the front clears.
Further west you have a more volatile pattern, with showers, some thundery.
Looking ahead, it's worth keeping an eye on the Friday forecast which at the moment is for a good easterly or ESE in the Channel. That direction may well end up blowing more ENE on some beaches in the Southeast but a 9 degree air temperature is forecast by GFS sites, so a bit better than this weekend. Port tack of course.
A lot of pros are buggering off to Maui early this year. With these temperatures, you can see why.
Allotment owners are concerned they haven't planted their potatoes yet, for the same reason. Here to post about windsurfing.
