    Well what did you expect from sailboats/speed sails? Detailed information? A working knowledge of the class rules? 55 on the sails is about as technical as they get I'm afraid. You'd be better off speaking with P&B, The Boatyard at Beer, JP Boats or indeed, Winder or Gosling who are all still making money out of the ol' Solo.

    Anyway, 12 geriatrics ranging in ages from 34 to 74 (most in their 40's and 50s) out sailing Solos on Sunday, not a care in the world about your handicap system and how wrong it is. You'd be welcome to join us, in fact a nice C section and flat cut sail... you'd probably be quite competitive given your (alleged) tactical superiority.

    Bic Techno 293's isn't it? The Board the kids get told to use as the next step on their Olympic aspirational path. If it was all there was to sail most of you would give up windsurfing having tried to lift it, never mind sail it.
