I bet a few are out at Famara if it is the right direction, but perhaps the cold n rain is the deciding factor. Hope it improves soon!

I used to leave my gear rigged on week-long vacations. That mostly was no problem, until one mast got a permanent bend after just 3 days, and another mast snapped in half while just lying around rigged. Both were 100% masts from different manufacturers; the bent one was newish, the other one had seen lots of use. It's possible that I had not released the downhaul, I think that's really important. I have also heard the mast of a rigged slalom sail snap while it was just lying around on the beach. Chances are that the mast got really hot from the sun in Bonaire.
