I'm sure Steve will be along at some point to talk about fin sizes, but I'd guess the thinking is you wouldn't want anything bigger than 14cms at the rail on a quad or tri fin.

Whether you'd want asymm foiling in a quad for your centre pair of fins is another matter – but if you did, I guess some guys might like bigger than 14cms.
(Not me, sounds like an over-finned board for a Quad).

I'm on twin fin boards mostly and with a conventional twin the boxes are set relatively close to the centre line so no or little toe in is required. I guess some might like to try asymm fins in there to see what it feels like.

But my NuEvo is a different beast in that it has the twin fin boxes set nearer the rail – and with toe in – so I guess it makes sense for me to try a pair of asymm fins in there and to report back (although I'm happy with the board as it is).

A pair of 14cms will do me just fin for that experiment as I'm light. I guess heavier guys might like say up to a 17cms pair if the idea works in a twin board.

The great thing about K4 fins is that the outlay isn't too bad if you find you've got the wrong sizes or if they don't help the board.

That said, I'm a bit shocked about how many fins I'm carrying nowadays.

without some toe on the rear centers of quad, it would be questionable if asymmetrical fins would be the ticket. F2 being the only "PRODUCTION" board that Iam aware of that have toe on the back . But trying them ....

FWIW my Exocet 104L home made back yard shed quad, works best with 17cm K4s rear and 8/10cm at the front, all symmetrical with a little toe. I would try the asymmetrical ones, but I have sold the board.

What size and how much toe-in would you recommend for a QUATRO QUAD LS 2013 78 L as a second fin set?
