ftfy. But at least a well rounded port tack champion is better than the onshore port tack champion of recent years. However, its hard to see a different world champ unless Koester misses some events through injury. I guess there's still time for some *board tack events to be added. That might make things more interesting...

Indeed, I should have said a more rounded champion. Sorry I don't know what ftfy means...sorry if I'm not cool enough to be here
I think Cape Town is starboard isn't it?Quatro/Neil Pryde...nice

Hello Jetty,
you'll have to forgive the regulars bleating and jargon!
ftfy - fixed that for you (or in other words edited it in a way you didn't intend).
I think people would like to see a starboard tack destination, as all at the moment, CT included, are port (out).

After the last few years, we shouldn't complain about 6 events with a good balance between on shore windswell and side shore groundswell should we! Looking at the calendar though, it would be nice to have something earlier in the year. Why don't we all chip in for a maui event in April

Will Maui ever be back on the pwa calander (because of the success of the awt). Maybe moulay would be more realistic?

Exactly. It has to be better than just a few years ago when there were only 3 events weren't there? Unfortunately it appears new spots need a pro wave sailor to get it up and running. Don't get me wrong it's great to see new events and well done Swifty for getting it done but I don't see the same happening for the freestyle mob with their poultry tour.
Maui would be great but it seems everyone loves the Makani classic too much to feel the need to get he pwa backQuatro/Neil Pryde...nice

Yes Robby Swift has done well to makethe event a reality and I'd think would be a dark horse to win it with his knowledge of the conditions and ability to do it on both tacks.
