Opportunistic afternoon session at Cooden with Orange Peel and Corin, on 5.8 and 100ltr in the rain. Warm air, cold water, good waves and good flat stretches given the low low tide. Packed up when it became hard to see much... Felt like a bonus session today really, a bit unexpected. Weird seeing head and tail lights on the coast road while on the water, and driving home from a session in the pitch dark.

I went to my local point break which was pumping (overhead high) but not really enough wind and I was on my own, so I didn't go out.

Damn that was a dark afternoon - had a splash and dash at Shoreham on 5.7 elite and 100 quad, few ramps for jumps and backside riding, great to get out : )

As Jon says it was almost dark, at around 4pm, due to the rain and low cloud, but it was very much a bonus session, not too cold and good fun. Mick the policeman and Nick the farmer, and Tom L were out and enjoying their session too ..
