I was wondering myself whether there was some computer controlled feedback system for the foils and it seems that there is, the article here has some information on it

That was in the Solent in June last year. They wanted to do a round the Island record but never had the right conditions. They did have some 25 knot plus winds and did a few runs in the Solent itself, which must have been scary given how busy it is, even mid-week.
