hmmm yes now you got me thinking.
Unfortunately there is no way of me
having a test ride. I may have to take a leap of faith
and if it doesn't quite work make the gear do what I
want as with the others I have...
I'll have to scour the net for videos or photos of what
    other people have tried.
    thanks

Of course another point in favour of the Black Box is that when I was in
OZU Tarifa visiting my wife and girls saw the board and remarked what a great looking board it was.
Who am I to argue that, it's half the battle won!

hmm, that may be Northy but the Nuevo is not as wide for similar volume nor has the tail width and it is more conventional looking. I have boards that are nearer to that like the kode 86
I admit my snobby-ness and will say I also like when people come around to see what the heck you are riding... specially when they are not.

Hmmm…I reckon the BB is kinds awkward looking being green, short'n'squat with a big bootie…but as they say once you go...

She aint plug'n'play but give her time and pay attention to your technique you will be rewarded with an awesome ride

Thank you. I don't mind it isn't plugnplay. There are other boards for that.
Also if all the boards one has were plugnplay in could end up you are always sailing in a sameness zone. Now I need to see if I find one 107 over there across the Atlantic so that I don't have to travel with. It's been a few years now since the airfares and sports gear allowance got tighter that I double up my gear roughly having a number of same things in the Med and the South Atlantic.
    Thanks for your help Steve-0
    best
